Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the RoboMed™ Academy workshop registration platform at https://academy.robomedglobal.com and your participation in any workshop organised by RoboMed™ Academy, an initiative of RoboMed™ Global. By completing a registration, you agree to these Terms in full.

1. Eligibility

The workshop is open to licensed healthcare professionals including surgeons, perioperative nurses, biomedical engineers, and hospital administrators. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you meet any professional prerequisites communicated in the workshop description.

2. Registration

A registration is only considered complete and a seat reserved upon receipt of full payment. Submitting the registration form without completing payment does not guarantee your place.

Each registration is personal and non-transferable. You may not transfer your booking to another individual without prior written approval from RoboMed™ Academy.

3. Session Selection

Each participant selects:

• A session (Morning or Afternoon)
• An individual hands-on slot (1 hour, within the session's individual slot window)
• A workshop date (Tuesdays and Wednesdays only, within the published workshop window)

Session capacity is limited to 4 participants per session per date. Slots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis upon payment confirmation. We reserve the right to reassign a slot if payment is not completed within a reasonable time.

4. Pricing and Payment

Workshop fees are published on the registration page and are denominated in Nigerian Naira (NGN). Fees may vary based on an early-bird period; the applicable rate is determined at the time of registration.

Payment is accepted via:

• Paystack — debit/credit card, USSD, or bank transfer via Paystack's secure platform
• Direct bank transfer — using the account details provided at registration, with the specified narration

Bank transfer registrations are held pending manual verification. Spots are not confirmed until payment is verified, which may take up to 24 hours on business days.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation by Participant

• More than 7 days before the workshop: Full refund, less any applicable payment processing fees
• 3–7 days before the workshop: 50% refund
• Less than 3 days before the workshop: No refund. You may apply the fee as a credit toward a future workshop date, subject to availability

Cancellation by RoboMed™ Academy

In the event that RoboMed™ Academy cancels or postpones a workshop due to circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to facility issues, instructor unavailability, or force majeure), registered participants will be offered either a full refund or transfer to a rescheduled date.

6. Attendance and Conduct

• Participants must arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled session start time
• Valid government-issued ID is required for entry
• Late arrivals may forfeit their individual hands-on slot at the discretion of the facilitator
• Participants are expected to conduct themselves professionally at all times
• RoboMed™ Academy reserves the right to remove any participant whose conduct is deemed disruptive or inappropriate, without refund

7. Intellectual Property

All workshop materials, presentations, and content are the intellectual property of RoboMed™ Academy and RoboMed™ Global. Participants may not reproduce, distribute, or publish any workshop materials without prior written consent.

Photography, audio, or video recording during the workshop is not permitted without prior written approval.

8. Limitation of Liability

RoboMed™ Academy provides workshop training for educational purposes only. The content delivered does not constitute medical advice. Participation in hands-on simulation training is at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RoboMed™ Academy and RoboMed™ Global shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your participation in or inability to attend a workshop.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific workshop registration in question.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Your continued use of the platform or participation in workshops after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
